Mini Cooper S JCW Works GP

Available from July 2006, the limited edition Works kit for the Cooper S promises to be a lot of fun. As well as upping the power output to 218 bhp, they’ve managed to shed 40 kilos as well!

This has been achieved with the use of aluminium chassis parts and the deletion of the rear seats and sound deadening material.

Some engine and intercooler tweaking has resulted in an 8 bhp gain over the already potent JCW model. A limited slip differential and DSP (Dynamic Stability Control) are fitted as standard.

Other features setting the Works GP apart from ‘lesser’ models, will be the addition of specially designed lightweight 18 inch alloys and the unique body colour in grey-blue with a pure silver roof and Chilli Red mirrors.
