Following on from its horrific Bentley GT Speed model, ASI has managed to climb a step further up the ladder of vulgarity with this - the W66 GTS Gold Version. It looks like it’s been heavily beaten with the same ugly stick as the original offering - then painted in gold. The “spiced up” model made its debut at the Tokyo Special Import Car Show last month. Ten Bentley Graduate Trainees have challenged themselves to complete a 24-hour, 200 mile sponsored run from the Bentley Motors factory in Crewe, Cheshire, to the historic Brooklands Race Circuit in Weybridge, Surrey.

Hanover, 11th April 2008 Lower Saxony’s regional capital has gained another motoring attraction. The dream cars of the British luxury manufacturer Bentley are now sparkling in the newly furbished showroom in Hanover’s Podbielskistraße 322. This means Bentley’s dealership network in Germany has increased to a total of 11 outlets.

For anybody with more money than sense, who thinks that Bentley didn’t do a good enough job of styling the Continental GT, the guys at ASI have come to their rescue. The Japanese-made carbon additions do nothing but drain the Bentley of any class. The front-end is a hideous mixture of Porsche 997 and a Transformer, while the rear copies Audi’s R8. And don’t get us started on that wing… There’s a small press release below, but personally, we wouldn’t bother.
Bentley Motors is pleased to announce the appointment of Callisma AB as new authorized Bentley dealer in Sweden. After a successful partnership with Volkswagen Group Sverige for 5 years, the Bentley business was handed over on 1 April.

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor was the victim of a vandalism attack on his Bentley Continental GT Speed, causing around £10,000 worth of damage. A corrosive liquid was poured over the player’s car, which was also daubed with graffiti.
Volkswagen-owned Bentley has agreed to buy a 27.9 percent stake in the luxury car dealer HR Owen. The deal will make Bentley the largest shareholder in HR Owen.
