CHANGES IN ŠKODA AUTO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Winfried Krause (48), currently Head of Volkswagen Group Controlling, has been named member of the Board of Directors of Škoda Auto responsible for Commercial Affairs effective April 1, 2010. He succeeds Holger Kintscher (49), who moves to become Executive Vice-President for Finance at the SEAT brand.

Winfried Krause began his career with the Group in sales controlling at Audi in 1991. The business administration graduate subsequently held responsibility for various Volkswagen controlling and finance departments in Wolfsburg, Puebla (Mexico) and Palmela (Portugal). In 2001 Krause was named Head of Divisional Controlling at Volkswagen AG. He has been Head of Volkswagen Group Controlling since April 2006.

Holger Kintscher joined the company in 1987. The engineering graduate held responsibility for controlling and accounting at the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand in Hanover and Poznan. He was appointed the member of the Board of Directors of Škoda Auto responsible for Commercial Affairs in September 2005.

Effective from 1. August 2010, Michael Oeljeklaus (46) is going to become Škoda Auto BOD Member for Production and Logistics. This position has been occupied by Horst Mühl until his retirement last year in March.

Michael Oeljeklaus joined the Volkswagen Group right after finishing university in 1988. From 1996 until 1998 he was responsible for (new) vehicle production start-ups in VW’s plant in Wolfsburg and then until 2001 worked as Director of the Volkswagen Coaching subsidiary in Kassel. Then he assumed responsibility for start-ups of production of all new models of the Volkswagen brand. In 2002, he was appointed management spokesman at Volkswagen Sachsen. Since 1 August, 2005, Michael Oeljeklaus has been BOD Member responsible for production and technological development at Shanghai Volkswagen.
