BMW TO SUPPLY 4,000 GREEN VEHICLES TO LONDON OLYMPICS IN 2010

[24-Nov-2009] London Olympic organisers have announced that BMW will be the exclusive automotive sponsor of the 2012 games. The company will supply 4,000 low-carbon vehicles, including electric cars, motorcycles and bicycles. The Mini will transport athletes and officials around London, while BMW salons will transport VIPs, sports chiefs and corporate guests. BMW is already conducting trials of the electric MINI E in London.
