MARIO BARTH AND OLIVER POCHER IMPRESSED WITH RACE TOUAREG

Comedian Mario Barth and TV presenter Oliver Pocher were obviously thrilled with the Volkswagen Race Touareg, the 2009 Dakar Rally winning vehicle, after an opportunity to ride in the car.
The winners of the cross-country rally, Giniel de Villiers (ZA) and Dirk von Zitzewitz (D), demonstrated the capabilities of the 280-hp “Dakar” prototype from Wolfsburg at the Off-road Park of the Nürburgring. Both Barth and Pocher rode in the Race Touareg for the first time. “Wow, that was a real humdinger,” said Mario Barth. Oliver Pocher added, “That was definitely not my last time as a passenger in the Race Touareg.” Prince Albert von Thurn und Taxis and former World Rally Champion Ari Vatanen were treated to a ride as well. As guests of the joint main sponsor Red Bull, Formula 1 stars Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber were on location as well.
