SUNDAY TIMES REVIEW: LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO LP 670-4 SUPERVELOCE

Mr Jeremy Clarkson has been driving Lamborghini Murciélago’s mighty LP 670-4 SV for The Sunday Times. Lighter and faster than the Murciélago LP 640; the LP 670-4 SV’s V12’s output is increased to 670 hp while its weight is reduced by 100 kg. 100 km/h (62 mph) arrives in a breathtaking 3.2 seconds, with the LP 670-4 SV running out of steam at around 342 km/h (212 mph).
“In the Murciélago, it’s just pure unadulterated violence. The grip from the four-wheel-drive system as you leave the line is so immense that you usually leave half the clutch behind. But you’ve no time to think about that because you are already doing 100. And by the time you register that, you’re doing 150. And still, there’s no let-up. ”
