Motoring journalist Andrew Frankel has been driving Porsche’s Cayenne Diesel for the Sunday Times. The 240 bhp oil-burner is capable of hitting 62 mph in just 8.3 seconds before romping on to an admirable top speed of 133 mph.

Beijing/Berlin – Mercedes-Benz Auto Finance China (MBAFC) will become the first auto finance company to offer vehicle leasing in China. After entering the Chinese market with financing and insurance offerings in November 2005, MBAFC – a subsidiary of Berlin-based Daimler Financial Services AG – now completed its product range by adding leasing to its services.

Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe has been lucky enough to get his hands on Audi’s V10-engined R8 supercar. The 525 bhp version can hit 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 316 km/h (196.35 mph).

Accidents are always sad to see, but when there’s an Audi R8 involved it tends to bring an extra tear to our eye. From what we can gather… the incident took place in Estonia, with a Volkswagen Polo driver losing control on the ice before using this R8 as a brake. If any Estonian-speakers are reading, let us know what happened exactly.
