VIDEO: VOLKSWAGEN BLUESPORT CONCEPT

Here’s a look at Volkswagen’s brand new BlueSport Concept model. Due to make its debut at today’s Detroit Auto Show, the two-door roadster is powered by a mid-mounted 2.0L turbocharged diesel powerplant producing 180 bhp and 260 lb-ft of torque. 60 mph appears in around 6.2 seconds, while the top speed is 140 mph. According to the guys at Volkswagen, an extremely impressive 57 mpg is possible – in Eco mode. Sweet.
