Munich. BMW M GmbH is heading for a considerable plus in sales in this business year compared to 2007. In the 30th year since the start of vehicle production, the company has sold more than 16,150 units worldwide already between January and August, exceeding the total sales figure of the previous year (16,128 units).

MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – September 29, 2008: The Audi S3 is now not only available with five doors, but also with seven speeds courtesy of the much lauded S tronic twin-clutch transmission, which not only quickens shifts compared with the continuing manual version, but also slows down fuel consumption. Available to order from October 1st at an extra cost of £1,450, the super slick transmission takes OTR prices for the first ever ‘two pedal’ S3 models to £28,920 for the three-door and £29,420 for the five-door Sportback. UK deliveries are expected to start in mid-December.

America will soon discover Audi TDI® turbocharged clean diesel technology, which has earned media attention and consumer praise throughout the world for its exceptional fuel efficiency and dynamic performance. Next month, the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI will debut in the U.S. during the Audi Mileage Marathon, a two week cross country drive that will display the world’s leading fuel-efficiency technology.

Singapore (SG). Instead of the predicted procession on the narrow Singapore Marina Circuit, the huge crowd saw a very exciting first Formula One night race. However, the rewards for the BMW Sauber F1 Team were somewhat poor with only three points for Nick Heidfeld (6th) after Robert Kubica’s very bad luck. The Pole needed to refuel when the pit lane was closed during a safety car period, and after being penalised he finished eleventh.
Premier4509 has added the Lamborghini Gallardo to their lineup of aero kits for exotic vehicles. The latest release from the company features aerodynamic enhancing redesigns for the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and rear spoiler. Optional stainless steel exhaust tips will also be offered with the package.
Britain’s Lewis Hamilton scooped third place at tonight’s Singapore Grand Prix – extending his championship lead over Ferrari’s Felipe Masse to seven points. Massa could only manage thirteenth after an unfortunate pitlane incident. Renault’s main Hamilton fan – Fernando Alonso enjoyed his first victory of the season. We couldn’t be more pleased for him…
