You may remember we told you that the first of the eagerly-awaited Veyron roadster model – the Grand Sport – would be going to auction at the Equestrian Center shortly after making its debut at Pebble Beach? Well the auction took place, and somebody who’s considerable richer than us has splashed out $2.9 million for the open-topped animal. Here’s the auction in action.
