SLR SPEEDSTER ‘SPY’ VIDEO

This apparent spy video has surfaced on YouTube. The fact that it was probably filmed and posted by Ron Dennis doesn’t detract from the fact that – the rumours of a limited edition screen-less speedster version of the Mercedes SLR McLaren making it into production – look to be true.

200 Kilograms has been lost thanks to a lightweight carbon plastic body and the lack of electric windows and air-con. This will lead to decreased acceleration times and an increased top speed of 217.5 mph. Just 75 of the 1950’s 300 SLR-inspired model will be built.
