TOP GEAR SNEAK PREVIEW

Here’s a few sneaky pics to keep Top Gear fans moist. Spotted filming in Belgium today on the circuit of Zolder, there appeared to be a definite Germany Vs England competition going on. Racing driver Sabine Schmitz was there, along with a German ‘Stig’ - aka Tim Schrick (the real one never removed his helmet…) Part of the ‘rivalry’ involved Aston Martin and Porsche 997 race cars, but the doubled-up race looks far more entertaining. Expect a few scrapes from the Golf/Mercedes and Metro/Jaguar battle.

BMW 1-SERIES MULE SPIED

This unusual-looking BMW 1-Series has been spotted on the streets around Munich. Nobody seems to know exactly what lies underneath its skin, with opinions on the BMW forums ranging from it being the next-generation 2011 1-Series to the forthcoming MINI Colorado SUV. The raised ride-height and massive arches hiding a slightly wider track than usual, suggest this could very well be a mule for the X1 SUV. Time will tell…
