Volkswagen celebrates the experience of owning a Golf with a lyrical and visual composition produced in collaboration with Paul Hartnoll from Orbital. Created by DDB London, Volkswagen launches it’s latest ad campaign for their flagship model, the Golf, using a distinctive visual and lyrical composition depicting the life of one man and his Golf.

The track for the advert, made up from the sounds recorded in and around the Golf on the shoot, has been composed and produced by Paul Hartnoll of Orbital. This distinctive composition along with a unique visual direction from Scott Lyon tells the story of one man’s unique and enjoyable experience of owning a Golf.

“Driving a Golf is a great experience” explains Morna Steel, Communications Manager at Volkswagen UK ‘it’s all the little things in the car that work so well and when experienced on a daily basis it’s these things that add up to make a long and rewarding ownership experience”.

The TV spot will be on air from the 11th April for eight weeks. The ad will also be shown at Independent Cinemas from 5th May.

Many thanks to John for this.

I agree. Dunno how long it must have taken. I like how the angle of the car never changes – no matter where it is. No doubt somebody who does that type of thing would say it’s easy, but I think it’s cool.

Superb. Not as good as the Polo dog one, but still cool. Love the soundtrack to it.
