2009 MERCEDES-BENZ SL IMAGES LEAKED

Auto Zeitung has posted a gallery of leaked images, featuring Mercedes’ 2009 SL model.
It’s not exactly unrecognizable. The main differences include the new headlights and (single bar) grille, while the SL’s wing vents are based on its bigger brother’s, the SLR. According to Auto Zeitung, the SL 280 has 231bhp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. The SL 350 gets a newly developed 316bhp sport engine, which helps it to sprint from to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds (0.4 seconds faster than its predecessor.)
For those with a thirst for power, the SL 500 develops 388bhp from its V8 unit, while the V12-powered SL 600 makes 517bhp, thanks to a lovely pair of turbochargers
