MORE AUDI R8 V10 DETAILS

EVO magazine has published a few extra details regarding Audi’s eagerly awaited V10-powered R8. Its 500+bhp powerplant will be based on the high revving RS4/R8 V8 unit rather than being related to the V10s seen in the RS6 or the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Due to the higher than expected demand for its V8-powered R8 Audi has decided to delay production of its bigger brother until late 2008. That’ll give you plenty of time to save up.

I have loved Audi fron the first Quatro’s but sence owening one and getting to know other local Audi owenres I will never buy one again. Tha days of bullet proof German engineering are over ! If you are lucky to be able to buy a new car youawill have a few years of great driving. But it is us second hand buyers who end up in the sh*t. Poor electrice and suspencion parts are trublesum and expeencive. This is accross the range. I hope Audi do not let this continue or we will not enjoy these wounderful looking cars for long…for who will buy the traid-ins when its time to change.
