HORRIFIC R8 ACCIDENT
Posted 17th November, 2007 in Audi | 8 Comments
You may remember we told you about an accident involving an Audi R8? Here’s another one, but unfortunately this time it’s fatal. The 27-year-old driver, from Gummersbach, lost control of the car in heavy rain. Sadly, he hadn’t been wearing a seatbelt, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he appears to have aquaplaned at high speed before hitting the central barrier.

Our sympathies go out to the family and friends of the driver.

Black don’t seem to be the lucky color for the R8…

Not wearing seat belts is fatally stupid.

Why offer sympathy to base jumpers, meth addicts, or anyone as blatantly stoopid as this fool? The good news: Audi engineers get a good, real-world example to check out.

The cabin seems fairly intact considering. If he had been wearing his seatbelt maybe it would be a different story.
