You may remember us bringing you the VW pop-up toaster article a while back? Well one of our readers, Rick Harrison, has let us know about one he’s obtained. For some reason, now that he’s finally got his hands on one, he’s selling it! He must be crazy.

How are people getting their hands on these toasters? I have searched all over the internet and I can not find any for sale! Do you know of any more that are for sale?

We’ve only ever seen one on American eBay. That was after a reader saw one on here and asked a Japanese friend to get him one.
They seem to be VERY rare.
