VOLKSWAGEN REPORTS OCTOBER 2007 SALES INCREASE

Volkswagen of America, Inc. today announced October 2007 sales of 17,260 Volkswagen brand vehicles. This represents an increase of 8.3 percent over the 2006 figure of 15,942 units.

These results reflect increased inventories and expanded 2008 model availability of the core Jetta model line. October 2007 Jetta sales of 7,771 units represent an increase of 39.3 percent over October 2006.

Signifying Volkswagen brand strength in delivering accessible and affordable German engineered value are the increases posted by New Beetle and Rabbit model lines, up 17.6 and 10.9 percent respectively.

Volkswagens sales will really take off in America next year with the introduction of the Jetta TDI…AS WELL as the sports wagon and Tiguan.
They are brilliant cars and they deserve all their success.
