Each VW Beetle was wrapped in black and yellow stripes with antennas to resemble bumble bees, and created buzz as each star arrived in style.

A-list talent including Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Seinfeld, Renée Zellweger, Patrick Warburton, Ray Liotta, Rip Torn, producer Christina Steinberg, writer Spike Feresten and directors Steve Hickner and Simon J. Smith each arrived at the yellow carpet in a VW Beetle and were dressed in yellow and black clothing to match.

Hollywood has been buzzing about Jerry Seinfeld’s new comedy “Bee Movie,” the first motion picture script written by Seinfeld. This animated film tells the story of Barry (Jerry Seinfeld), a bee who wants more out of life than the lone career that awaits him…a job making honey. Barry’s life is saved by Vanessa (Renee Zellweger), a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey, and subsequently decides to sue the human race for stealing the bees’ precious honey.

Other stars at the premiere included Nicolette Sheridan, Jon Cryer, Jane Leeves, Blair Underwood, Mimi Rogers, Jeri Ryan and car-enthusiast Jay Leno, who eagerly checked out the Beetles. “Bee Movie” will be released in theatres November 2, 2007.
