If you didn’t catch Top Gear last night, you missed a good show. One of the highlights was Mr Hammond in a Bugatti Veyron racing a Eurofighter Typhoon one mile and back. Oh yeah, the typhoon was racing vertically. Enjoy!

We’re not sure if we’d like to buy a car that was once owned by a guy who killed 2 million people, and the lack of bids shows that we’re not the only ones. This classic 1973 Mercedes Benz Stretch Limousine was used by the former leader of the Khmer Rouge and Prime Minister of Cambodia from 1975 – 1979. Great…

Personally, we couldn’t drive it without that image out a mountain of skulls popping into our heads, but if you’re interested, get bidding.

Andrew Frankel has reviewed BMW’s 123d Coupe for The Sunday Times. The 2L twin-turbo diesel version of the 1-Series Coupe sounds almost too good to be true:

“Imagine a car with more power than the most powerful Lotus Elise, with better acceleration and a higher top speed than the latest VW Golf GTI. Now imagine that same car using less fuel than the smallest-engined Ford Fiesta, while also emitting less CO2. That would seem straight out of science fiction.
But it’s not: the car exists and is in your local BMW showroom right now. It’s the 123d, I’ve just driven it and it’s every bit as incredible as its statistics suggest.”
