Project Airborne was an exercise in developing one of the most powerful street Minis in the country. The 2002-2006 Cooper S (R53) has had a hugely successful introduction over the last two years. They’ve helped redefine how good a small car can be and in a sense, create an entirely new category in America. Our #001 Airborne concept has taken the media by storm and has pushed our team to develop products for both the R53 and the future R56. The Airborne Series works with some of the very best developing both styling and performance products for the world of Mini.
