MINI Ireland have announced record breaking sales in 2007.

By midday on Tuesday, 13th June 2007, MINI sales in Ireland had hit 1012 units. Quite incredibly, this surpasses the previous sales record of 1001 units that was achieved in total in 2005!

Audi prevailed with TDI power for the second year in succession at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For Audi, it was the seventh win from nine starts in the French long-distance classic. At the same time, Audi presented the German automobile industry with its 25th Le Mans victory.

Check this mint condition 1985 VW Golf out. Apparently, it was used by a (lazy) lighthouse keeper to travel from his boat to his lighthouse. Hence the ridiculously low 15 km on the clock.

“Only first gear and reverse used, Never driven hard, Original tires, Original brakes, Original fuel and oil, Only 1 driver, Owner wishing to sell due to employment lay-off”

We spotted this sweet BMW M1 race car for sale today. The 460bhp monster comes with a hefty price tag of €379,000 (over $507,000.)



The M1 coupe was hand-built between 1978 and 1981 under the Motorsport division of BMW as a homologation special for sports car racing. The body was designed by Giugiaro, taking inspiration from the 1972 BMW Turbo show car. Only 456 production M1s were built, making it one of BMW’s rarest models.

Autovisie has captured some shots of the MINI Clubman ‘S’ at the Zandvoort Circuit in the Netherlands. Apparently, MINI employees were getting familiar with the ‘midget-hearse’ ahead of its debut later this year.
