Lowest Mileage Mk2 Golf?

Check this mint condition 1985 VW Golf out. Apparently, it was used by a (lazy) lighthouse keeper to travel from his boat to his lighthouse. Hence the ridiculously low 15 km on the clock.

“Only first gear and reverse used, Never driven hard, Original tires, Original brakes, Original fuel and oil, Only 1 driver, Owner wishing to sell due to employment lay-off”

Crazy…

Fifteen Miles! Is that guy crazy?

Doesn’t he know that by his reckless actions he’s drowning penguins, frying southern Californians, and forcing Al Gore to tell inconvenient truths?

That man needs to cut down on his carbon output.

Obviously this is a photoshopped picture. While it may be true that a car with some of those specs actually exists, it can’t be the one in the photo.
    1. If sold in New Zealand, as can be determined by following the ’sellit’ link, then the water in the picture is probably salt water, and hence the car could not possibly be in mint condition.
    2. How would the lighthouse keeper get the car onto that island with no docks, even if it was brought over by boat.
    3. Original fuel? Original oil? It would probably be about as viscous as lava by now.

Moral of the story, don’t believe everything you see, or read.

Harshad: There’s a Bugatti on the roof of a Russian hotel (on this site.) It was lifted up there by a magical device called a helicopter…

Who cares if it’s real or not?

    It made me smile.
