Car magazine has been putting the 4.2L diesel-powered Q7 through its paces.

Under the bonnet of the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI is the most powerful diesel engine the brand has to offer. The 4.2L capacity of the V8 generates an output of 326 bhp and 561 ft.-lbs. of torque. Those figures help the Q7 to accelerate from standstill to 62 mph in 6.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 145 mph.
“In the unlikely event any Q7 owners did venture a little further afield than their gravel driveways, they might be surprised at how well it can handle itself.”
