R8 Sells-Out Before July Launch

AUDI UK dealer’s allocation of 450 R8s has already been taken up, and the network has managed to increase its total for the following 12-months to 750 cars.
James Millett, product manager for the Audi R8, said: “It has been an outstanding success for us, even before it was seen in public for the first time last year. We have taken over 1,000 deposits and we are now turning these into orders and sold 650 cars already at an average delivered price of £90,000.”
He added “People have such high expectations for the car and we are delighted it has also been calculated to maintain 47pc residual value over two years.”
