McLaren High Speed Run

Here’s a blast from the past. Before the Bugatti Veyron even existed, Tiff Needell chose to go for the high speed record in a BMW-engined McLaren F1.

Produced from 1994-1998, the V12-powered F1 hit a record top speed of 386.5 km/h (240.14 mph) until it was surpassed in 2005 by the Koenigsegg CCR, and then the Bugatti Veyron.
