IROC Tested

Auto Zeitung has reviewed the IROC concept from Volkswagen.

The IROC is powered by a 210bhp TSI unit, transmitting power through a DSG gearbox. Performance is brisk, with the IROC hitting 100km/h (62mph) in 7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 245km/h (152mph.)

The IROC Concept looks to be slightly more hardcore than its Golf brother, weighing 100 Kilos less, than the Golf and coming equipped with a built-in fire extinguisher and four bucket seats. It’ll be interesting to see if they make it to the production model (doubtful.)
