A $150,000 Shift Knob For That $165,000 Bentley

Taking vulgarity to new heights, this is the $150,000 diamond-encrusted shift knob for the Bentley owner who has everything (except friends, presumably.)

Company owner Tony Lee, came up with this monstrosity in preparation for the Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show in Las Vegas. The 18-karat white-gold shift knob is coated with 30 carats of diamonds, and took 100 hours to craft.

“Everybody’s jaw was dropping at how expensive it was,” Mr. Lee said. Not surprisingly, the shift knob didn’t find a buyer, so remains on display at the company’s Las Vegas headquarters.
