This is a great looking car and looks to be a good success for Audi. Anyone know about pricing? Finally there might be some legit competition to the BMW M3 coupe, which traditionally has been a fantastic car, but it would be nice to see some heat under the roundel.

Speaking of Audi, Christies just released a statement on the history of the $10,000,000 D Type A U they pulled from the Paris auction this month…

Am I the only one who thinks this car is ungainly and ugly?

I think its the aspect/wide angle of the camera phone…I wouldn’t bet on the proportions being the same as in these photos, at all.

If the S5 looks this nice, I can’t wait to see how the RS5 will looK.

Another best in class for Audi!

mm well, the car definitely looks pretty but Audi like all cars manufacturers are crossing the line of realism n with this S5 looking a little bit too futuristic, frankly i do not think it is a success looking at it from this dimension… however the car would be a great performance car and in that aspect, it is definitely a 10 out of 10.

I agree that it looks a little futuristic. I suppose the TT did too, when it first arrived on the scene. Pretty car, but I’d need to see one in the flesh before I’d commit to buying one. (I’d need to win the lottery too.)

At last, a badly needed 3-series coupe alternative (sorry, G35). Depending on pricing, this could be a real winner. Bring it over, and we’ll take a look!

i first saw this car last tuesday and didn’t recognize it from what i’d seen on print anywhere…. print does not do the dimensions any justice it is large(for a coupe) and handsome .. test drove it saturday afternoon and ordered it on the spot . roadholding is superb and it goes like the klappers.watch out bmw.

Yep, Audi certainly seem to be trying to corner every market these days.
