Superleggera Gallardo Planned

Lamborghini is said to be planning a diet for its Gallardo. The company wants to build a lightweight version of its baby to compete with the likes of Ferrari’s awesome F430 Challenge Stradale.
The Superleggera will be 100 kg lighter than the standard model, while its 5.0L V10 powerplant is tweaked, taking output to 530 bhp. These figures will be enough to take the Superleggera to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed nudging 200 mph. E-Gear sequential transmission will be standard equipment on the Superleggera.
