Audi of America, Inc, today announced the launch of its new diesel-specific media.

Audi has long been a leader in diesel technology since the debut of the first Turbo Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engine back in 1989. Not long after Audi went undefeated in 2006 with its R10 TDI prototype race car, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the first U.S-bound production diesel model was announced; the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI. Having long been pioneers in diesel outside North America, the Audi Public Relations department created a media website to expand upon Audi’s diesel prowess.
The Media Centre has a variety of videos to browse through, including Allan McNish discussing the driving characteristics of the R10 diesel after its winning debut at the 24 hours of LeMans, in France.
