America Gets The Four Door GTI

We’re not totally sure why it’s taken them so long, but starting with the 2007 model, Volkswagen will be giving the Americans what they’ve always wanted - a four door GTI.
The GTI, which starts at $22,100, will be available as a four door model, costing a mere $500 extra. With the two extra openings adding just 62 pounds, performance is more or less the same as its two door brother.
