Veyron Targa: A Clearer Picture

Regular readers will remember, back in July, we brought you news of a targa-roofed Veyron. You’ll also remember, the (not so great) rendering of how it could look.
Well, for all you potential buyers out there, here’s a clearer picture.

Webasto (those guys responsible for the roof of the Volkswagen Eos) are developing a glass roof section. The laminated panel will be too big to store in the targa, so a fabric clip-on roof will be supplied incase owners get caught out in a shower.
With the extra strengthening needed for the targa, comes extra weight. This will be cancelled out by way of a carbon fibre bonnet and doors. Another addition will be headlights that swivel in the direction that the car is turning. This feature will be added to all future Veyron models.
