John Cooper Works have wasted no time in producing a range of body upgrades for the next generation MINI’s.

The package has been designed specifically for Cooper and Cooper-S models. It comprises of an aerodynamic front bumper, black mesh grille, sill extensions and a diffuser-style rear bumper. The alloy wheels are 19 inch diameter and available in a variety finishes. Carbon fibre trim upgrades are available for the tailgate handle, bonnet scoop and mirror shells.

Perhaps the most distinctive piece of the kit, is the carbon fibre trimmed high-level rear spoiler, which (in our opinion) does nothing, except look fussy and ruin the lines of the car.

Inside, JCW have added sports seats with side airbags, chequered flag style mats, stainless steel sill plates and a gear shift indicator light built into the menu display.

Don’t expect to see a new generation JCW MINI in the showrooms until 2008.
